During its decade-long history at the Le Mans 24 Hours, Audi has won the race nine times through its open-top models, the R8, R10 TDI and the R15 TDI models. The new Audi R18 opts for a closed-top design, in an effort to reduce driver fatigue and improve on the aerodynamics of the vehicle.
