Apart from the original Cadillac Escalade, the Escalade ESV broadens appeal to customers by offering maximum passenger room and cargo space. The ESV offers three rows of seating and accommodates up to eight people. It also offers an optional power fold and flip function for the second row seats for accommodation of large cargo. With this impeccable seating capability, the ESV is increasingly popular with family buyers.
Along with abundant amount of space, this SUV's appeal also lies in its intrepid attitude and luxurious interior. The interior comes with stitched leather upholstery, faux wood trim, and many standard features including: tri-zone automatic climate control, 14-way power/heated front seats, a touch screen navigation system with a rearview camera, a Bose 5.1 surround sound audio system with ten speakers, and an in-dash CD/DVD changer. Engine wise, the Cadillac Escalade ESV is propelled by the same 6.2L V-8 engine in the standard Escalade. It has about 403 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque and a standard six speed automatic transmission that transfers power to a rear or all wheel drive system. The ESV is only available in one trim level. Pricing for a new 2010 Cadillac Escalade comes in at a hefty $65,000. But used models can be had for $20k less.
